What led to you being an instructor?

After about 38 years of driving up and down the west coast I was looking for something to allow me more time at home. In all my past job I was teaching/training new drivers so thought this might be a good fit. This being my retirement job I wanted something that would allow me to still work yet have a good time at home.

What motivates you to help train students?

I really enjoy interacting with students and helping them learn something new. Like to see students making progress and working toward getting better jobs and joining the trucking industry. I enjoy knowing I am sharing my knowledge with others.

What are three things people may not know about you? 

I play bass guitar in a Celtic Rock band with my son who is lead vocalist.

I enjoy spending time with my wife of over 50 years

I like art and composing music in my spare time.
