What led to you being an instructor?
Two things led me to becoming an instructor. My son’s attendance of WPTS’ training program and needing to find something to do in retirement. It started out as an idea after retirement and turned into the most rewarding job I have ever done!
What motivates you to help train students?
My motivation to train is watching people learn to become independent and start a pathway to a stable career growth. I like to see people learning new things and facing challenges and overcoming them. I feel patience is key and I apply that with my structured instruction.
What are three things people may not know about you?
I have been a supervisor at a government entity, don’t let that scare you I’m a great people person!
I have a hobby of restoring and fixing classic automobiles.
I once juggled, while on a tricycle, blowing fireballs!
